•The CBO found that Obama’s stimulus added between 1 million and 2 million jobs in 2009, and boosted the GDP between 1.5% to 3.5% higher than it would have been without the stimulus.
• According to monthly payroll statistics, we’ve gone from a loss of 818,000 jobs in Jan. 2009 (when Obama took office) to 16-straight months of positive job growth.
• In January of 2012, the economy added over 243,000 jobs. Making the unemployment rate drop to 8.3% (the lowest it’s been in 3 years)
I love when people say that President Obama didn’t do anything to help the economy or that the economy is worse. Really? Let’s look at the facts and not twist the statistics. My advice is if you’re going to make a claim that he did or did not do something, come correct. I wanna see some statistics, some quotes, something concrete. Hard evidence, people. Otherwise the opinion has little credence.
