I remember the ipod craze in 4th grade.
Everyone had to have one. I thought they were overrated. I finally gave into the hype about three years ago, and it was definitely an enlightenment. I’d had mp3 players before, trying to be different but still satisfy my need for music on the go. They pale in comparison. Ipod, apple, is the way to go. I want to convert to mac, next.
Steve Jobs was a figurehead of this generation, putting i-products into the hands of millions, making them staples in every American household. He streamlined the music industry, orchestrated the most successful platform for music purchasing, and in many respects, revolutionized the way we listen to, share, and enjoy music today.
Jobs, you were a visionary. May you rest in peace. ♥
